David E. Doherty, Senior Vice President and Accounting Officer
Mr. Doherty is Senior Vice President and Accounting Officer of Berkshire Property Advisors and it's Funds business where he is responsible for accounting, financial reporting and investor servicing for Berkshire's institutional, discretionary, real estate funds. Previously Mr. Doherty has held the position of Vice President and oversaw the financial reporting of Berkshire Realty Holdings, a privatization of a public NYSE REIT. Mr. Doherty joined Berkshire in December 1995 and served as Assistant Controller and Controller for affiliated entities from 1995 to 1997. From 1991 to 1995, Mr. Doherty served as a Senior Associate in business assurance at Coopers & Lybrand, LLP (now known as PriceWaterhouseCoopers, LLP) an international accounting and consulting firm, where he specialized in the real estate and investment industries. He received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Notre Dame and is a Certified Public Accountant.
