Frank P. Apeseche, Managing Partner and Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Apeseche is responsible for the overall strategic direction and operational performance of Berkshire and its portfolios. He chairs the firm's investment committee and is actively engaged in all aspects of the business. Over the past decade he led Berkshire's successful transformation from a group of unlinked, independent operating companies to its current focus as an integrated value-add multifamily investment enterprise. Mr. Apeseche and his Partners are now focused on the successful investment and management of Berkshire's portfolios, the expansion its institutional business, and the continued growth of its organization.
Prior to his current position Mr. Apeseche was founding partner of BG Affiliates (a private equity investment firm funded by Berkshire), Chief Financial Officer of Berkshire, and Manager of Accenture. He holds a BA with Distinction from Cornell University and an MBA with Honors from the University of Michigan. He also lectures at Harvard and Cornell where he has authored numerous publications on real estate management and investments. Mr. Apeseche has served on the boards of more than a half dozen companies and as a public company officer for two REITS.
